This is the bank account from which you pay your bill, on which you can receive your salary and much more.
A Current Account is available in ANG, USD or EUR, to every natural person, either resident or non-resident. You are free to request an extra Current Account. A Current Account can also be shared by two persons (And/Or Account).
With a Current Account you can:
- Make deposits, withdrawals and money transfers to third parties.
- Obtain a free debit card that enables you to:
- Withdraw cash money from any local or foreign ATM machine
connected to Cashnet, Maestro or Cirrus.
- Swipe in shops, at gasoline stations and at any other cashier,
connected to Cashnet, Maestro or Cirrus
- Program payment schedules and check payment histories through our well-secured Girobank online banking system which enables you to take care of your banking affairs whenever it suits you, wherever you are.
- Make use of our Mobile Banking system, enabling you to consult your account balance, request mini statements and receive debit and credit alerts via your mobile phone.
